The shekel gained an average of .115 percent in value Thursday against most of the other currencies on the Bank of Israel’s foreign exchange list. The United States dollar slipped .263 percent to NIS 3.788, while the Euro was fixed at 4.8598 shekels, down .049 percent.

Dollar remains lower as jobless claims drop
