Euro Gains on Speculation Recent Slump Was Excessive
May 6 (Bloomberg) — The euro strengthened against the dollar and yen amid speculation the European currency’s recent decline was excessive. The euro rose to $1.2845 as of 9:41 a.m. in Tokyo from $1.2814 yesterday in New York. It gained to 120.37 yen from 120.22 yen.
